FWD to adopt Free and Paid Membership

Looks like FWD after several years has decided to also offer a free and paid service. $30/yr for personal membership and $300/yr for business.

I am still at a loss to understand exactly what we are getting for that $30 a year.

i don't know what they offer for free..is there any?

It sounds to me that they are simply asking for a contribution; expecting individuals to cough up $US30 and businesses $US300 -- I can see nothing indicating a compulsion or any benefits other than offering FWD financial support. This is meant for future growth plans which may or may not have an impact on the future life of FWD if no-one contributed.

There must be something that I am not seeing as I cannot understand why an arbitrary payment should be of any specific denomination.
