I would definately love to use sipgate even for outbound calls, but their prices are 100% - 500% above other VSP's rates.
Probably it would be a good idea for sipgate to lower call prices instead of blocking Voxalot... just my 2 cents, gambrinus

Good letter. Once again Voxalot demonstrate a really proactive approach to dealing with problems. But I disagree with El-Condor. Sipgate were one of the first to offer free geographic phone numbers and a good allround service. Trying to keep up to date with all the available freebies and integrate them into a bog standard phone service is virtually a full time job. Some people are actually happy to just choose a straightforward good service and pay for it.
Sipgate have had at least their fair share of service problems but whenever I sent an email I usually had a reply within an hour or two telling me what was wrong. It was often fixed immediately. Where Sipgate will lose is not adapting to the ever changing voip world, as Betamax have done. I hope they read the letter and have a good think about how their business might expand rather than just annoy customers. |
